Low Fat Desiccated is a natural by-product of coconut milk extraction. We supply low-fat desiccated coconut manufactured using the latest technology under a stringent quality assurance system and packed to preserve freshness and wholesomeness

This partially defatted product, which is the by-product after extraction of the milk, is commonly termed “Low Fat DC”. It is widely used in the Confectionery & Bakery trades.


We supply following types of Low fat DC with fat content of 45%-55%

  • Milrun (60% fine cuts/40% medium cuts)
  • Fine grade (sorted fine)
  • Medium grade (sorted medium)
  • Packaging- strictly 25kg only

    Fine Grade - Desiccated Coconut

    This is grated desiccated coconut of which not less than 80% of the weight shall pass easily through a sieve of square aperture size of 1.40 mm, but of which maximum 20% of the weight passes through a sieve of 0.71 mm square aperture size.


    Medium Grade - Desiccated Coconut

    This is grated desiccated coconut of which not less than 90% of the weight shall pass easily through a sieve of square aperture size of 2.80 mm, but of which maximum 20% of the weight passes through a sieve of 1.40 mm square aperture size.

    Packing and Storage of Desiccated Coconut

    Desiccated Coconut is packed in multi-ply kraft paper bags with inner sealed polythene to keep away from the atmosphere’s moisture. Desiccated Coconuts are packed in 7kg, 10 kg, 25 kg or 50 kg as per buyer’s packing requirements. Desiccated Coconut shall be stored in cool and dry place. Direct sunlight and strong odor should be completely avoided.
